The Centre for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES) at the Metropolitan University Prague (MUP) extends an invitation to participate in our annual conference Immigration and the EU held on Saturday, 15 March 2008 at 9.30. The venue of the conference is the Metropolitan University Prague, Prokopova 16/100, Prague 3, Zizkov.
This year's theme, Immigration and the EU: Focus on Middle Eastern and North African Migration promises to provide scholars, students, and the interested public with insightful analyses of European, Middle Eastern and international approaches to contemporary immigration. The panels have been constructed to tackle this issue from theoretical and practical perspectives.
This action is part of the regional campaign "1001 Actions for Dialogue" launched by the Anna Lindh Foundation the Dialogue between Cultures for the enhancement of peaceful coexistence and intercultural dialogue in the Euro-Mediterranean area. The action was generated with the financial support of the Anna Lindh Foundation.
