Computer Software Manufaktur Holds an Internet Security Conference in Vienna / CSM Security Meeting on April 6-7, 2000, in Vienna

Vienna (PROTEXT) - Computer Software Manufaktur GmbH (CSM) isinviting professional Internet users, IT specialists, partnercompanies and customers to Vienna for a conference that will dealwith security in the Internet on April 6-7, 2000. Speakers andthe following practical training session will deal with theincreased need for security, developments and solutions. The explosive growth of the Internet has resulted in adramatic increase in the number of attacks on Internet systems.As a result, it is becoming more and more important for companiesto protect their networks and important data against suchthreats. CSM offers complete strategic solutions, especially foroperators of large Local Area Networks (LANs). At the conferencein Vienna, basic security needs of users and complete solutionswill be discussed. Following the presentations, attendees willhave an opportunity to familiarize themselves with CSM solutionsin actual practice and extensively test CSM solutions. The meeting will start on April 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the rooms ofthe UTA, A-1090 Vienna, Universitätsstrasse 5, with presentationsand discussions and then continue on April 7 with practicaloperation. Industry professionals may attend the first part ofthe event free of charge. The price for attending the practicaltraining session is 280 Euro per person. He has been permanent correspondent to India, the USA and until his new appointment in the United Kingdom, where he worked for seven years and developed a fully integrated, multimedia approach to foreign correspondent´s work spanning from sport, to politics, to art. He is the lead author of CTK s news manuals and stylebook, which is now in the form of a wiki.

Apart from journalism he worked in managerial positions. He was Deputy Editor in 1996-2001 and as its first Director he helped to establish CTK s internet and new media subsidiary Neris. While in the USA, he established internet presence for CTK English news in 1994.

Mr. Jiri Majstr (50) has been appointed the Director of News at CTK as of August 1st, 2008.
