Welczeck, who has excellent contacts both inGermany and in Silicon Valley. friendlyway's new executive, whospeaks fluent German, has spent several years in managerialpositions in Santa Clara and San Francisco as well as inFrankfurt, Hanover and London. As an experienced Fortune 500sales and marketing specialist, he has been involved in openingup new markets and building up new businesses in the capitalgoods sector. In the context of internationalizing its activities,friendlyway joined the American Chamber of Commerce on March 14,2000, and will be actively involved primarily in the work of theCommittee for Telecommunications and Multimedia.
