TC TrustCenter expands mobile E-Commerce activities

Hamburg (PROTEXT) - TC TrustCenter - one of Germany's leadingcertification authorities - has joined the global initiativeRadicchio. This move enables TC TrustCenter to strengthen itsactivities in the sector for wireless application security. Branching out from the company's existing business, TCTrustCenter now aims to service the booming market for wirelesscommunications by providing a variety of products and servicesthat ensure secure and authentic wireless communication. Today it is possible to use a mobile phone to access a widevariety of electronic services around the clock, such as internetbanking or online stock brokering. Until now, one of the keyconsiderations which has prevented customers from utilizing thefull potential of such services has been the perceived lack ofsecurity for payments and transactions conducted through a mobiledevice.
